Private Practice
Psychologist
Rambo & Associates, PLLC. Responsibilities
include: Full range of psychological services
including therapy with a general population of
clients ranging from children to the elderly. Types
of therapy include: individual, marriage and family
counseling, and career counseling. Coaching services
include: Career Transition, Performance/Personal
Growth and Development, and LifeStyle Coaching.
Pre-employment psychological evaluations are
conducted for 25 police, sheriff, and fire
departments in a computerized Law Enforcement
Testing Center. Reclaiming Your Health, health and
wellness program, offered to clients who desire to
improve their overall health and to assist patients
with weight loss, healthy eating, moderate exercise,
and accountability. Program offered in conjunction
with physician oversight. Reclaiming Your Health
workshops are also available to clients,
corporations, and churches. Training, workshops, and
retreats are developed upon request.

Psychology Department—Professional Counseling Faculty
Responsibilities included teaching undergraduate and
graduate courses in Department of Psychology; advising
graduate students; serving on department committees;
conducting research; membership in professional
organizations; and community service. Courses taught:
Undergraduate Developmental Psychology, and Psychology
of Women; Graduate courses included: Foundations of
School Counseling Services, Organization and
Administration of School Counseling Programs,
Developmental Life Span, Pre-Practicum, and Career
Counseling.
Appointment and Recognition include: Chosen to attend
Oxford Round Table at the University of Oxford in
England in spring of 2006 to discuss women’s issues.
Appointed by Dean of College of Education and Behavioral
Science to be Faculty Mentor, including training faculty
to become mentors, as well as working with faculty who
were seeking growth and professional development.
Community Mental Health
Senior Psychologist
Responsibilities included: Full range of psychological
services in a community mental health setting including
therapy with a general population of patients ranging
from children to the elderly. Provided Department of
Human Services with evaluations of physically and
sexually abused children in a five-county area, as well
as court testimony. Extensive psychological evaluations
including police and firefighter certification, Social
Security disability, Medicaid, and Vocational
Rehabilitation determinations, and nursing home
evaluations. Provided the Department of Human Services
with evaluations of physically and sexually abused
children.
